Bacaro Tour

A guide will be waiting for you at Campo de San Basegio (sestiere Dorsoduro) to lead you to the discovery of some of Venice’s most beloved bacari where conviviality, quality food and excellent service are guaranteed.

The tour will take place on foot, with a relaxing walk through the calli and campielli far from the most crowded tourist areas. The destinations will be three historical “bacari”, located in the sestiere Dorsoduro and sestiere San Polo.

These venues will allow you to taste excellent wines, including ombra (a classic glass of red wine typically served in Venetian taverns) and sparkling Prosecco The tastings will be accompanied by traditional cicchetti, small “snacks” prepared with seasonal products and including meatballs or fishcakes, baccalà mantecato (whipped salted codfish) crostini, sardines “in saor” and folpetti (octopus “moscardini”).
